The Cylburn Arboretum Association (CAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Cylburn Arboretum as a place of open space, beauty, and learning.

For over half a century, CAA has partnered with Baltimore City to co-sponsor hundreds of programs and events. These activities have brought thousands of City residents and visitors to Cylburn and provided opportunities to better understand and appreciate the natural world.

Approximately 150 volunteers help maintain gardens and trails, staff programs and special events, and oversee the Cylburn Nature Museum, home to an extensive collection of birds and other wildlife.

Cylburn Arboretum Association is a membership based organization dedicated to supporting, maintaining and improving the Cylburn Arboretum; its Mission is to protect Cylburn Arboretum as a place of open space, beauty, and learning; and to ensure the preservation, enhancement, and interpretation of the site’s gardens, woodlands, historic buildings and collections as educational, environmental, and recreational assets for the benefit of the City and citizens of Baltimore and surrounding regions. You can join the Association, and support the Arboretum, by calling the office at 410-367-2217, or stopping at the front desk in the Vollmer Center, 10 to 4 most days.
