Volunteer Opportunity for Watering Team:
Cylburn Arboretum
Goal of Position: Improve the quality of plant materials produced in the greenhouses.
Sample Activities: Routine watering of plant materials produced in the greenhouses.
Timeframe:
Number of Volunteers: 1 - 4
Length of Commitment: April through October
Estimated Total Hours: 3 hours per week
Scheduling: Saturdays or Sundays, 8 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Volunteers may sign up for one shift per month (i.e., every 3rd Saturday), or multiple shifts (i.e., every Saturday and 2nd and 4th Sundays)
Worksite: Cylburn Arboretum Greenhouses
Qualifications Sought:
Ability to work independently after training
Tolerant of variable temperatures
Tolerant of wet feet
