Wildflowers of Maryland: Cylburn Arboretum Association
The Mansion houses a collection of water color paintings of Maryland wildflowers. The paintings, located on the first floor of the Mansion in Room D, has been a project of the Conservation Committee of the Gibson Island Garden Club. Over 100 plants are depicted – from Jack-in-the Pulpit and yellow Trout lily to round-leaved Hepatica. Ten members of the Gibson Island Garden Club participated in the project. The names of the artists are found on a plaque in Room D.
The mansion is open to the public Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Closed weekends.
